DocuRocket™ User Agreement
Last Updated: April 21, 2026
1. Overview
DocuRocket is a digital document delivery and electronic signature platform provided by Electric Ink Innovations Inc. (“DocuRocket”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using DocuRocket, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by this User Agreement.
If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the service.
2. Nature of Service
DocuRocket provides tools to:
- Send documents electronically
- Request and capture electronic signatures
- Store and retrieve signed documents
DocuRocket is a technology platform only.
We do not:
- Provide legal advice
- Validate the legality or enforceability of any document
- Act as a party to any agreement created or signed using the platform
3. User Responsibility
By using DocuRocket, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of any documents you send, sign, or request signatures for.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of electronic signatures complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for determining whether electronic signatures are appropriate for your specific use case.
DocuRocket does not guarantee that any document signed using the platform will be legally binding or enforceable.
4. No Legal Relationship
DocuRocket is not a party to any agreement between users.
We:
- Do not verify identities beyond basic platform functionality (unless explicitly stated)
- Do not guarantee the authenticity of any signer
- Do not mediate disputes between users
Any agreement made through DocuRocket is solely between the involved parties.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
DocuRocket and Electric Ink Innovations Inc. shall not be liable for:
- Any legal disputes arising from documents signed using the platform
- Losses resulting from invalid, unenforceable, or improperly executed agreements
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
6. Compliance with Laws
You agree to use DocuRocket in compliance with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:
- Electronic signature laws
- Privacy and data protection laws
- Contract and commercial laws
You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance in your jurisdiction.
7. Data and Storage
While we take reasonable measures to store and protect documents:
- You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important documents
- We do not guarantee permanent storage or retrieval
- We are not liable for data loss
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep DocuRocket available and reliable, but:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Features may change or be discontinued at any time
9. Fees, Subscriptions, and Billing
DocuRocket offers self-serve paid plans (including monthly subscriptions and pay-as-you-go document credits). Prices are listed on the pricing page, are quoted in Canadian dollars, and are subject to applicable taxes.
- Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel from the Billing page. Monthly document credits do not roll over and expire at the end of each billing period.
- Pay-as-you-go credits are charged at the time of purchase and do roll over month to month.
- Overages beyond a subscription’s monthly credit pool are billed at the published pay-as-you-go rate.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. DocuRocket does not store your full card number; we only retain a Stripe customer reference and a truncated summary.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals.
Because each document send consumes compute, storage, and notification resources the moment it is initiated, all sales are final and fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Pay-as-you-go credits that remain unused may be forfeited if you delete your account.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your DocuRocket account at any time from the Account page. Deletion will:
- Cancel any active subscription immediately;
- Remove drafts and unsigned documents;
- Redact your personally identifying information from documents you have already signed (but the sealed documents themselves remain available to the counterparties who signed them with you).
Counterparties retain the right to keep a copy of any fully signed and sealed document they participated in, even after your account is deleted.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to DocuRocket at our discretion, including for misuse of the platform.
13. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this User Agreement from time to time.
Continued use of DocuRocket after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
